Claude Solnik has won numerous honors and awards as a playwright (as well as a journalist), including his designation as playwright in residence at Theater for the New City. He has won additional recognition from festivals in addition to a long string of awards for journalism along with regular publication in Newsday, publication in The New York Times, New York Daily News, Village Voice and others.
